No Short Sale for this Foothill Farms Home
Here is my newest SOLD home in the Foothill Farms neighborhood of Sacramento. When the owner asked if I could sell 6546 Filaree Way, she thought she would be selling as a short sale. In reality, prices have gone up so far, in such a short period of time, that she actually made money! I listed it for $195,000 and it promptly sold for full asking price!
The local real estate market is heating up faster than the weather. It’s partly due to the season (spring and early summer is the most popular time to buy a new home) but the improving economy and high demand have made it into a seller’s market once again. You’d probably be pleasantly surprised to find out the current value of your home.
It will be interesting to see how much longer the buyer demand will out-way the current supply. As more potential sellers realize that they are finally in a good position to sell their home, the market could easily become saturated with homes once again. Now is a great time to sell your home if you’ve been thinking about selling. Before you do, speak to a local real estate agent who can help you figure out if selling right now is a good option for you.
