I wish I didn’t have to say that I’ve been selling short sales in Folsom for the last 7 years. I wish that the real estate market was DONE adjusting and that all my clients had equity in their homes. The reality is that MANY do not and changes in life happen and they just HAVE to move. Job transfer, job loss, expanding families, and health issues paired with the current real estate values are some of the reasons why Folsom short sales are still very much alive.
Take a look at my latest Folsom short sale sold. 4403 Esplanade Circle is a cute condo in the popular Esplanade area. With 2 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, and 1501 square feet it’s a great size for many but got a bit tight for the sellers with a growing family. It was however, perfect for the buyer who LOVES the area and had been trying to find the right place for a year or so. This short sale in Folsom sold for $268,000.
As a Folsom real estate agent/broker for over 15 years, I’ve seen the inevitable ups and downs in value. At this point, the market is improving and is starting to get stronger. However, the growth is slow…slower than most economists predicted. Life goes on and moving is often necessary. Short sales are an option when you have to sell for less than your current loan.
